     The Ganado Indians golf team showed signs of improvement, but ran into some tough competition on Monday at the Weimar Golf Club.

      The Ganado Maroon and White teams placed 5th and 6th respectively with 441 and 476.

      Host Weimar (373) won the tournament, followed by Shiner (404) and Boling (419). Alexis Martinez (103) led the way for the Indians finishing T-12, while Bryce Ullman (108), Ashton Strauss (109), and Coy Smith (110) also finished in the Top 20.              Other scores for the Indians were Lane Benavides (114), Luke Bures (118), Cain Hayde (126), Ethan Gonzalez and Callen Hajovsky (129).

     For the Maidens, Kayleigh Pape and Bella Adrian competed in the Weimar Golf Invitational on Wednesday at the Weimar Golf Club.

     Kayleigh finished 15th after firing a 140.
