Shelton Kuhlman, 74 of Ganado, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. Shelton was born at home in Ganado on November 27, 1945 to his parents, Walter and Gertrude Kuhlman.     

Shelton started ranching at an early age with his dad, and after graduation from Ganado High School he married the love of his life, Paula Roehe, and together they became ranchers.     

Shelton is survived by his wife of 50 years; his special nephew, Scott and Debbie Quarles; great-nephews Clay and Sam Quarles, nieces, Gay Lyn Pagel Wisko, and Carol Quarles Rovnozky; nephew, Rodd Pagel; and his special pal "Bandit".     

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. James Lutheran Church.     

There was a visitation on Friday, February 7 from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. with SAM Michelle Schlinke officiating. Interment followed at Ganado City Cemetery.     

Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Ganado Funeral Home, 361-771-2120.
