Norris Fitzpatrick

    Norris Fitzpatrick, 86 of Edna passed away February 2, 2020.  She was born February 17, 1933 in Edna to George and Caroline Koop.       

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Norris was known for her cooking, especially her famous cinnamon rolls, and her table was always full with family eager to feast on the wonderful dishes she had prepared. She loved her family with all her heart and the pictures that wallpapered her walls showed how proud she was of each and every one of them.     

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Young, Pamela Martin (Ray), and Hope Wood (Darrell); son, Dee Fitzpatrick (Macrina); sister, Pearl Symmank (Doug); brother, George Koop; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.     

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Devon Fitzpatrick; parents; sisters, Alice Robertson, Juanita Browning, Natalie Crawford, and Elnora Schubert; brothers, Walter Koop, Virgil Koop, Ewald Koop and James Koop; and grandchildren, Jayme Fitch, Amy Fitch, Ty Young and Colton Fitzpatrick.     

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6, from 6 -8 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Edna. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 7, at 10 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Andrew Schroer officiating. Burial will follow in Red Bluff Cemetery.     

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Hunter Martin, Colby Martin, Jason Fitch, Coby Martin, Denver Tollett, and Brady Karl.     

Honorary pallbearers are Ty Wood, Mason Wood, Cauy Martin, Jake Bird, Hazen Bird, Cutter Martin, Aiden Kortz, Lane Frysak and Payton Rice.
