Maureen Garza

     Maureen “Grandma Moo” Garza, of Edna, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the age of 75. She was born in West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England on February 10, 1948, to the late Ernest John Seymour and Clara Ann Seymour.

     Maureen was a daughter, sister, and a florist from a small village in England, where she met her husband, she became a loving wife, mother, Grandma Moo, great-grandmother, and a friend who will be missed dearly.

     Maureen is survived by her children, Karen Garza and John Garza; grandchildren: Payton Cooper, Kaitlyn Garza, Tanner Cooper, and Emily Garza; great-grandchildren: Harper Werney, Evelyn Garza, Oliver Garza, and Maisie Cooper.

     Maureen is preceded in death by her parents, Ern and Clara Seymour, and her husband, Adan Garza.

     A private family graveside service will be held in the Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
