Margarett Ruth Hoffman

     Margarett Ruth Hoffman, of Baytown, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2023, at the age of 81. She was born in Vanderbilt, Texas on February 9, 1942, to the late Lewis Hoffman and Ruth Haynes Hoffman.

     Margarett was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

     Margarett is survived by her son, Darrell Hoffman (Wendy); granddaughter, Hannah Hoffman; and brothers, Lewis Hoffman (Flo), Charles Hoffman and her loved nieces and nephews.

     She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Ruth Hoffman; and her sisters, Katherine Eldridge, Beatrice Wiegand, and Meredith Johnson.

     Pallbearers are Darrell Hoffman, Hoyt Hoffman, Lewis Hoffman, Jr., Ben Hoffman, Izzy Palmer, and Dean Dreyer.

     Honorary pallbearer are her granddaughter, Hannah Hoffman.

     Services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel in Edna, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna, Texas. Pastor Jack Hutson will officiate.
