ALBERT ROBERT ESPINOSA

Albert Robert Espinosa of Ganado went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the age of 55. He was born in Ganado, Texas on July 19, 1967 to Albert and Dolores Espinosa.

Albert, your time has come and gone to soon, put the John Deere tractor in the shed. Some years were not easy and many downright hard, but your determination prevailed. The fields have all been harvested, your labor is done, your heavenly home awaits. Your legacy lives on, and it’s time to close the gate.

Albert was a simple man with many qualities of being loyal, generous, funny, and above all a family man. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, and a true friend to many. He has left behind so many memories of good times and valuable life teachings so many of us will recall for years.

Such as being the life of the party and never needing a reason to fire up the barbecue pit with Joe to cook at the barn. He also had a special sign language that he and Joe used and “we” were expected to know the meanings. He loved to be in his combine during harvest and wouldn’t let any auger cart driver catch him in the fields. He took care of us girls reminding us to cover our water pipes when it got cold and to make sure to put antifreeze in our cars. He was a TIK TOK user and would always share what he saw and was full of facts and recipes. But most of all, Albert would help us and he was always there for us. We will all miss him.

Albert is survived by his mother, Delores Espinosa, brother, Joe Espinosa (Virginia), and sisters: Diana Perez, Gloria Jones, Melba Lowery (Dean), Stella Nava (Randy Reyna), and Sonya Proper (Lance Crull), also his best friend, Diedra Whitley, also his numerous, beloved, nieces and nephews. Albert has been preceded in death by his father, Albert G. Espinosa, and his brother-in-law, Jim Perez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 starting at 5 p.m.. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 p.m. at Slavik Funeral Home Chapel.
