Albert Charles Randall

    Albert Charles Randall, 92, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in Towers Nursing Home in Smithville, Texas.

    Mr. Randall was born September 25, 1928 in Edna, Texas, son of Albert Joseph Randall and Bessie Lee Singleton Randall. He grew up on the Randall farm where he was born. He went to college at Abilene Christian College where he met Edna Lea Lacy and married her in 1950 after completing his college degree at Texas A&I. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of the Korean War.

    He is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Bass and Joan Crisp, and by his wife of 66 years, Edna Lea Randall and his oldest son, Albert Lacy Randall. Survivors include four children, Beverly Blank, Charles Randall, Richard Randall and Robinel Alvarado; one sister, LaVerne Todd; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    He loved God and lived a life that set a good example for everyone who came in contact with him. He will be missed.

    Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 4 at 11 am at Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna. Visitation will be at 10 am.
