Cowboys high scoring offense leads way to homecoming victory
The Edna Cowboys moved to 2-0 on the season with a 48-33 homecoming victory over the Anahuac Panthers. On a night when Edna's defense struggled, the Cowboys offense lit up the scoreboard and put up enough points to secure the victory.
Anahuac matched Edna blow for blow in the first half, and hung around until Edna finally was able to open some distance in the fourth quarter.
Javonte Seymore had a big night carrying the ball, but Logan Carroll had a huge night with a momentum-stealing interception and both a rushing and a receiving touchdown.
