Four recent graduates of Industrial ISD have been accused of assaulting a younger player after a varsity baseball game in April.

Zachery James Kuchler, Christopher Taylor McCrory, and Cullen Reid Stumfoll, have been indicted by a Jackson County Jury, have been arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail, and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity – Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

In April, an Industrial baseball player came forward saying four other players had sexually assaulted him on the bus after a game.

Industrial ISD has been met with criticism for their handling of the situation, with accusations they were not taking the incident as seriously as they should.

In an email statement, Industrial Superintendent Clark Motley stated they made the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office aware of the incident the same day it occurred, and the Sheriff’s Office was involved throughout the investigation.

“While Industrial ISD does not comment on individual student discipline,” he said, “through the investigation and based on information provided by the JCSO, school consequences were assessed.”

A fourth accused, Braxton Cole Warren, is named in the indictments but has not been arrested. Stumfoll, McCrory, and Kuchler have all posted $10,000 bail and been released from custody.
