Horns come up short, Cobras undefeated

The Industrial Cobras volleyball team won the first district meeting with the Schulenburg Shorthorns. The Cobras, the fifth ranked team in 3A, defeated Schulenburg, the 18th ranked 3A team, three sets to none.
Schulenburg came out firing in the first game trading point-for-point with the Cobras until the Short Horns held a 7-5 lead. The Cobras suddenly reeled off a string of points to open up a 20-13 lead that eventually led to a 25-16 first set victory.
The second set belonged to the Cobras who took the easy victory, 25-11.
