Elvira Santellana Rosa
Elvira ‘Vera’ Santellana Rosa, of Edna, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born in Edna, Texas on June 30, 1942, to the late Cirilio Santellana and Rafela Garza Santellana.
Vera was a retired home health caregiver.
Vera was the proud mother of three children – a daughter, Annabelle Rosa and her two sons, Alfred Jr, and Abelardo Lee Rosa. She was also a grandmother to six grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was loved and will be missed by her brothers, Cirilio Santellana, Andrew Santellana, and Julio Santellana and her sisters Julia Holmes and Mary Santellana as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cirilio and Rafela Santellana; brothers, Rudy Santellana and Manuel Santella, and sisters, Annie Arriaga and Juana Pena.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel in Edna, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. with a Memorial Service that begins at 11 a.m.
