Edna vs Van Vleck recap

The Edna Cowboys came out unstoppable in the first quarter, scoring two touchdowns, while Van Vleck was unable to put points on the board. Edna’s Kenny Haynes scored the first touchdown of the night with 6:55 left in the first quarter.

The Cowboys capitalized on an interception at the 40 yard line and scored their second touchdown with 59 seconds left in the first quarter. 

 

The second quarter was fairly quiet with the Cowboys scoring one 13 rushing yard touchdown while the Leopards were still unable to put points on the board. The score at half time was Edna 21 and Van Vleck 0.

 

After the half Van Vleck returned the kickoff for their first touchdown of the night making the score Cowboys 21 and Leopards 7. Edna responded with a touchdown of their own after a series of plays with 7:16 still left in the quarter.

The Cowboys make a huge play with a kickoff fumble recovery, which ultimately led to a touchdown by Edna changing the score to Edna 35 and Van Vleck 7.

The Leopards got the ball back but not for long when Cowboy Austin Black intercepted the ball. Edna then put together a series of plays to score another touchdown giving them a 42 to 7 lead.

The Leopards responed with another kickoff return touchdown, which ended the 3rd quarter with a score of Edna 42 and Van Vleck 14.

 

After a series of plays Van Vleck started the fourth quarter with a touchdown that brought the score to Edna 42 and Van Vleck 21.

The Cowboys managed to score one last touchdown before the night is over and the final score was Edna 48 and Van Vleck 21.
