Cobras run all over Yoakum

For the Industrial Cobras, the opening game of district play would answer a lot of questions about what kind of team they really were. The Bulldogs were 2-3 but they also faced an extremely tough preseason schedule, in which they did defeat defending 4A state champ Cuero by three touchdowns, and they have made deep playoff runs the last few seasons.

The Cobras were sitting at 4-1 but last year after a great preseason, the Cobras stumbled and ending up grabbing the fourth playoff spot.

This time Industrial answered everyone.

The Cobras ran around, through, and over Yoakum on their way to a 49-20 district opening win. Industrial rushed for over 400 yards and the Industrial defense held the Bulldogs down at every key moment in the game.
