Cobras Fly Past St. Joe

By Kassidy Biggs and Annie Simnacher

The Industrial Cobras started their homecoming game off strong with an interception by Collin Long and soon after got their first touchdown of the evening by Blayne Moreland and 2 point conversion by Derrick Cann, but an incomplete pass to Kieandre Kelly leaves the Flyers with the ball.
The St. Joe Flyers come in hot at the beginning of the 2nd quarter, scoring their first touchdown and leaving the score 8-6. But soon enough, Moreland recovers the ball which eventually leads to
him running it in for a touchdown. Derrick Cann completes the two point conversion changing the score to 16-6.
The Cobras shined through the 3rd quarter with Wimberly, Moreland, and Gowetski all scoring touchdowns. The Cobras ran the score up to 36-6 with only 2:38 left in the quarter. But, with only two minutes left, the Flyers pulled out a touchdown to make the score 36-12.
The end of the game looked good for the Cobras when Wimberly scored another touchdown giving Industrial a 31 point lead. 31 points didn't get the Flyers down when they run the ball up the middle for their last touchdown of the evening. Replying to this, Wimberly received the ball  and ran it in for a 41 yard touchdown. The final score for the Industial Homecoming game was Cobras 49 and Flyers 18.
