For the second week in a row the Ganado Indian football team went into the half trailing and came back with an offensive explosion in the second half. This time the Indians scored 32 second half points to defeat the Danbury Panthers 39-22 and moved to 2-0 in district play and 4-2 on the season.

Things looked bleak for Ganado to start the game. On the second play of the game the Panthers scored a 65 yard touchdown. By the end of the first quarter Danbury had built their lead to 14-0.

With a little over four minutes until halftime, the Indians finally got into the end zone to cut the lead to 14-7. The Indians had one final chance to tie it up before halftime but Danbury came away with an interception at their own six yard line and the game remained 14-7 at the half.
