Robert Riley Gray

    Robert Riley Gray, born February 28, 1938, has gone to meet the Lord on May 19, 2022.

    He was an Army officer CW3 who retired after 22 years, former Maintenance worker at M & M Mars in Waco, a Sherriff in Walker County, AL, a Fire Chief in Boldo, Alabama, and most recently a Rancher in Edna where he raised Longhorns.

    He leaves behind his oldest Grandson, Michael William Smith; his married middle daughter Christine “Tina” Archer and Joseph Archer;  daughter Pamela Jacobs and her children Lauren Swaim, and Caleb Swaim and daughter Ashley Bruce and her children William Solomon, Joseph Robert Faries and Angelina Solomon, and his great grandson Trey Stovall. He also leaves behind his youngest married daughter Tammie Gray, her wife Julie Rieland, and Tammie’s married daughter Brittany Walker and Roger Walker and Brittany’s son Jaxon Walker. He also leaves behind many cousins in Alabama.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlis and Audie Gray, and his oldest daughter, Theresa Gray-Smith.

    He will be buried at the Waco Memorial Cemetery Park, located at 6623 South I-35, in Waco on May 31 at 11 a.m. He will be buried with full military honors, along with a Masonic Funeral.
