Isidro Javier Carrizales

    Isidro Javier Carrizales, of Vanderbilt, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the age of 68. He was born on May 14, 1953, in Hacienda de Guadalupe, Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico to Antonio Carrizales Rios and Antonia Hernandez Ramirez.

    Isidro was a retired Jackson County employee and cowboy . He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed. His 3 granddaughters were the light of his life and he would do anything for them. They had him wrapped around their fingers. It never took much convincing to get him to take them for a treat. Isidro never meet a stranger and always had a smile on his face. After visiting with him, you had a smile on your face, too. He loved rodeo and went to them whenever he could. One of his proudest moments was when he became a U.S. Citizen.

    Isidro is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Yvonne Carrizales; daughter, Mimi Lange and husband Marshall, granddaughters, Alana, Scarlett, and Gabrielle Lange, sisters Elva Carrizalez, Estella Ortiz, Emma Mulvaney, Guadalupe Garcia and husband Lazaro. Brother Rene Carrizalez and wife Sandra.

    He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Antonio Carrizalez and Francisco Carrizalez, and his sister, Celia Esquivel.

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, with a rosary at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Family Center. Interment to follow at Saint Teresa Cemetery in La Salle.
