Ignacia Sanches, 88, of Edna, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018. She was born on July 31, 1929 in El Toro, Texas to Jose Angel Sanches and Rosa Flores Sanches. She is survived by her nieces Sarah Hernandez and Irma Jimenez and nephew Kelly Morales. There was a funeral service at Slavik~Edna Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 9 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Paul Morales officiating. Interment immediately followed at Edna Latin American Cemetery in Edna. Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik~Edna Funeral Home, 361-782-2152.
