Freddie N. Tarver, 73, of Edna passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. He was born in Edna on May 18, 1946 to Willie N Tarver and Lula Mae Tarver. Freddie was a retired teacher. He is survived by his wife Vera L Tarver, son Freddie Norwood Tarver II, daughter, Lynette L Goldman, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. There was a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, May 31, at 10 a.m. at 1st Assembly of God in Edna with Brother David Murff officiating. Services have been entrusted to Russell Todish of Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, 361-782-2152.
