Anne Sulak Moore

     Anne Sulak Moore, 94, of Ganado, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born July 23, 1927, in Ganado to the late Joe V and Julia Sulak.

    She married Herman Moore, on Apr. 9, 1947 at Assumption Church in Ganado.

    She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, Assumption Altar Society and Catholic Daughters. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Heritage Craft Quilters.

    She is survived by daughters, Roxanne Moore Kohleffel of Weimar, Analee (Harlan) Tegeler, and Jennifer (Johnny) Reckaway of Ganado; sons, Mark (Katrina) Moore of Inez, Gordon (Glenda) Moore, Glenn Moore, and Pat (Brooke) Moore of Ganado.

    She is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, John, Paul Kohleffel, Monica Kohleffel Jones, Clinton, Jonathon Scott Tegeler, Krysta Tegeler Crist, Stacy Reckaway, Sara Moore Koenig, Lacey Moore Wilson, Stephanie Meghan Starr, Samantha Michelle Moore Zelkowski, and Gracie, Sophie, Dorie, and Tillie Moore. Great-grandchildren include Coulton and Abby Tegeler; Ashley Jones, Hunter, Clay, Jacob, Luke, Olivia, Trey, and Wes Kohleffel; Elizabeth and Emily Koenig; Claire, Emma, Andrew, and Dominic Wilson; Charlotte and Hudson Leita; Joey, Connor, and Parker Zelkowski; Colbey James, McKenzie Eaton, Jayden, McKayla Naranjo, Savannah Ray. She is survived by her brothers, Lad (June) Sulak, Bernard (Emelia) Sulak, and Joe.D. Sulak, sister Maxine Wilson.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sons, Doyle and Douglas Moore; son-in-law Jack Kohleffel, sisters, Mabel Liberda, Mary Jane Rod, Irene Psencik, and great-grandsons Jude Wilson and Trent Kohleffel.

    The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, at Assumption Catholic Church. It will begin with visitation from 9 to 9:30, a Rosary at 9:30, and the Funeral Mass celebration at 10 a.m. with Fr. Greg Korenek officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Ganado.

    Pallbearers are her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are her granddaughters.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Assumption Altar Society or Assumption Catholic Church.

    Special thanks to her caregivers Molly, Linda, Virginia, Lilly, Ninfa, Dolores and Lynn.
