December 2,1930 - June 7 , 2026 Paul Edward Davis of Edna, 95, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at his home while under the care of Harbor Hospice.

Paul was born December 2,1930, in Laurel, Mississippi, to the late Ellis R. and Grace Harvlson Davis. He was a proud USAF veteran, having served his country for 71/2 years after being drafted as a teenager. He was stationed in the US, Japan, Korea and Germany. Paul led an extraordinary life, working world-wide as a completions/commissioning engineer, on projects In various US locations, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Syria, Iraq, and Algeria. He was proud of all his work, particularly of the work he did while on the NASA Apollo project.

Paul is survived by his wife of 26 years, Martha Sue Moody Davis; his son, Charles Russell (Rusty) Davis of Edna; sister, Narlene Harper, of Columbus, Georgia; grandson, Charles R. Davis, Jr.; sister-in-law, Janice Sljansky of Katy; brother-in-law, Charles Moody (Vicki) of Mansfield; nieces and nephews Ann Chambers (Ted) of Rldgeland, MS; Dale Richards (Charlene) of Valley, AL; Gloria Myers (Bob) of Midland, GA; Kevin Sijansky (Heather) of Rldgeland, MS; Sarah Sljansky Porter (Cade) of Katy; Ryan Moody (Kristen) of Tyler; Kyle Moody (Emily) of Gig Harbor, WA; great nephews and nieces, Gavin Sijansky and Teagan Porter of Katy; Leighton, Ella Kate and Caroline Sljansky of Rldgeland, MS; Samuel, Maggie and Benjamin Moody of Tyler; Wesley Moody of Gig Harbor, WA; his special 'almost daughter' Kim Rawllnson Stevenson (Mel) and her mother, Jaunice Rawllnson, and a multitude of friends scattered throughout the world.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Paula Davis; two sisters, Norma Coats and Jean Richards; granddaughter, Codl Davis; and brother-in-law, Danny Sijansky.

The family would like to extend special thanks for the extraordinary help from Ruby and David Webel to Mary Lee Walleck for the loving care provided for Paul, and to the care team from Harbor Hospice. Many thanks also to the wonderful friends who came to visit often, spending time together over a cup of coffee or a soda.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made In Paul's memory to Texana Fellowship, P.O. Box 414, Edna, Texas 77957-0414.
