Emil Conrad Frysak, Sr.

September 14, 1939 June 5, 2026 It Is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, Emil Conrad Frysak, Sr. who was called to his heavenly home on June 5,2026, at the age of 86. Emil was born on September 14,1939, to Conrad and Angellne (Strelec) Frysak, Emil married Janie Macek and had three children, Debbie, Diane, and Emil, Jr.

Later In life Emil married Annie Mueller who had two daughters, Dolores and Wanda. Emil and Annie were happily married for 28 years until her passing In March 2013.

Emil grew up farming with his parents In Jackson County on a modest farm south of Ganado, developing a love for his John Deere tractors. Emil served In the National Guard. Later, he became an electrician, retiring after a career with Brown and Root.

Through the years, Emil collected early John Deere and Farmall tractors. At one time his collection contained 19 tractors. Every chance he had, they were hauled or driven to shows, parades, and events to show them off. They were truly his pride and joy. He shared this with his son Jr., and his grandsons. Emil and Jr. collected and restored their tractors side by side. His favorite tractor was a 1939 John Deere B. For years, Emil was a member of the South Texas Wheel Spinners and Crank Twisters tractor club.

When Emil wasn't repairing or restoring his own tractors, he enjoyed going to tractor pulls and “sharing” his knowledge with everyone that he could. He also loved dirt track racing, and at times was able to cheer on his grandson, Chance. Emil loved spending time with all of his children, grandchildren, step-children and their families.

Emil was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Angeline Frysak, his wife Annie Frysak, and his niece Shirley Crisp.

Emil is survived by his sister, Evelyn Janssen, his nephew Walter Janssen, Jr., his children, Debbie Billings (Bryan), Diane Pierce (Stephen), and Emil Frysak, Jr. (Dolly), grandchildren, Jake Baker (Meredith), Britany Alexander (Caleb), Dillon Matus (Kayley), Colton Matus (Bri), Devon Pierce (Mariah), Kimberly Frysak (Mike), Chance Frysak, Emil Frysak, III (Hunter), along with fifteen greatgrandchildren, step-daughters, Dolores Millican (Larry), Wanda Buchhorn ( Arlen), step-grandchildren, Michelle Tomanec (Brian), Kenneth Buchhorn (Stephanie), Henry Buchhorn (Rebecca), Veronica Gajer (Dave), Justin Cloud (Roxanne), Brittany Savis (Johnathan), and 11 step-great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jake Baker, Chance Frysak, Dillon Matus, Emil Frysak, III, Colton Matus, and Robert Loya, Honorary pallbearers include Kimberly Frysak, Bernie Castillo, Jonah Baker, Jeremiah Baker, Jericho Baker, Britany Alexander, Harper Baker, and Devon Pierce.

A visitation will be held on Thursday June 11,2026, 5:00pm-7:00pm at Ganado Funeral Home chapel, The funeral service will be on Friday June 12,2026, at 10:00am at Ganado Funeral Home chapel with Brother Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Services are entrusted to the Todish family of Ganado & Slavik Funeral Homes.
