Donald White, 81 of La Ward Texas, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026. He was born on May 30, 1944, in La Ward, Texas. He will be remembered with love and respect by those who knew him.

Donald was born to the late Authur David and Ruby Gladys Revel White.

He graduated from Industrial High School in 1962. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the US Army in January of 1963 and served 3 years and then another 3 years in the Reserves until 1969. Donald started Whites Flying Service in 1969 and also farmed for many years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Tina White and his sons, Donald White Jr. and wife Erin, Bruce White and wife Devon, his stepson Nick Krasnytsky, Grandchildren Blake White, Chance White, Hannah White, Evan White and 4 great-grandchildren. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Donald was proceeded in death by his parents Authur David White and Ruby Gladys White, his brother Larry David White and sister Anna White Prukop.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel in Edna, Texas. A funeral service celebrating Donald’s life will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at La Ward United Pentecostal Church in La Ward, Texas, with Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Edna, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Blake White, Chance White, Evan White, David White, Wess Prukop and Ray Polensky.

Flowers may be delivered to Oaklawn Funeral Home in Edna, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of South Texas, 605 East Locust, Victoria, Texas 77901 or donor’s choice.
