Tommy L. “Bullet” Terry October 20, 1946 - February 13, 2026

Tommy L. “Bullet” Terry, of Edna, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the age of 79. He was born in Edna, Texas, on October 20, 1946, to the late Robert Terry and Maggie Lorene Nickel Terry.

Tommy retired after an impressive career working as an oilfield tool pusher for Stone Well Service. Throughout his life, he was known for being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. His commitment to family was unwavering, and he consistently placed their needs above his own. Tommy was also a true friend to many, always ready to offer support and kindness. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose steady presence and strong values shaped generations. Tommy was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand, whether it meant fixing something around the house or assisting a neighbor in need. His talent for working with his hands was evident in everything he did, and he never hesitated to offer his skills to benefit others. Through these acts of kindness and generosity, Tommy made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church, Lake Texana Trail Riders. He loved his horses, fabricating his own tools to “get the job done.” Yardwork, family singing and asking, “you got 5 minutes” and assigning nicknames to anyone he could not remember their name.

On December 2, 1978, Tommy married the love of his life, Donna Lucile Pahmiyer Terry, they spent 47 beautiful years together and built a family grounded in faith, love, and resilience. He is survived by his wife Donna, three sons, David Terry and wife Joy, James Terry and wife Melissa and Cody Terry and wife Amanda. Two daughters, Crystal Terry Fernandez and husband Eldo, Donnette Terry Georgi and husband Brian. 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Sister Margaret Gayle and husband Stuart. Numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Tommy Terry, Jr., brother Robert Louis Terry and sister Mary Lou Terry.

Pallbearers are Mack Terry, Zain Terry, Joshua Terry, Jason Miller, Robby Terry, Vestin Merechka, Eldo Fernandez, and Ryan Georgi. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flower memorials may be made in Tommy’s name to Harbor Hospice Inpatient Unit Portland, 1850 Billy G. Webb Drive, Portland, Texas 78374.

Visitation was scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel with funeral beginning at 11:00 a.m. Internment followed in the Memory Gardens of Edna Cemetery.
