A graveside service William Andrew Storz, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026 after a long, full life. William was born in Edna, Texas on August 31,1936 to Eugene Storz and Wilma Browning Storz.
Bill graduated from Edna High School in 1955. After graduation he joined the United States Army.
Upon completing his service to his country, Bill went into the cattle business with his aunts ‘Re and Rose, raising both milk producing cows and beef cattle. Bill enjoyed raising cattle, fishing, bowling, and playing dominoes. Bill was a lifelong Major League Baseball fan, Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Storz and Wilma Browning Storz; his beloved wife, Joyce Marie Braddock Storz; brothers George Storz, Frank Storz, and David Storz.
Bill is survived by his son, Billy Storz (Melissa), grandson Andrew Remington Storz, youngest brother Tony Storz, and fur baby, Beauty. Billy and Melissa would like to thank Bill’s longtime neighbors Terry and Markie for their continued help. Pall bearers will be Andrew Storz, Jerry Storz, Duane Muncrief, Andy Janca, Jeff Gerdes, and Terry Jordan. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bill’s name to the fundraiser of your choice.
was held January 30,2026 at 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery of Edna. Reverend Andrew Schroer will be officiating the service.
