Joe R. Figueroa, formerly of Edna, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born in Edna, Texas, on October 23, 1956, to Rosemary Rodriguez Figueroa and the late Pete Figueroa.

Joe was a dedicated and hardworking member of the team at Dan Hill Containers, where he spent many years contributing to his skills and strong work ethic. He took great pride in his work and was respected by colleagues for his reliability, warmth, and commitment. Joe’s presence at the company left a lasting impact, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him.

Joe was a devoted dad, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his beloved daughters, Jessica and Michael Posada of Bloomington, Tx, Jennifer and Jacob Torres of Temple, Tx, Jeanne Figueroa and Conrad Garcia of Victoria, Tx; sister, Diane and Agustin Baez; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Pete Figueroa, brothers, Pete Figueroa, Jr. and Andrew Figueroa.

Services for Joe R.

Figueroa were held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel, with the visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the Funeral Service beginning at 12 p.m., followed by the Burial in the Latin American Cemetery.
