Darlene Kay Adams

Darlene Kay Adams, of Edna, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the age of 66. Darlene was born to the late Addie Mae Adams in Edna, Tx, on June 10, 1958.

Darlene attended Edna public schools. She worked as a nurse assistant, and in the food service industry.

She leaves behind her son, George Adams; daughter, Clevonna Adams; a granddaughter, Laura Adams; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Panzia Brown (Reverend Ronald) and Robin Judkins (Terry); with a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother, Addie Mae Adams, grandparents, Charlie and Addie A. Adams.

Pallbearers will be Ledale Billups, JB Butler, Desmond Earls, Manuel Lopez, Sr., J’Marka Walker, and Authur Marshall.

Honorary pallbearers are George Adams, James Davenport, Manuel Lopez, Jr., and Josiah Pullam.

Services for Darlene Kay Adams will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, starting with the visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 12 p.m., in the Oaklawn Funeral Home Chapel, and the Burial in the Sayles Cemetery of Edna. Reverend Gary L. Roberts, Sr. will be officiating.
