She was born on November 2, 1929 to William Harrison Wayne Quarles and Mary Dittrich Quarles.

LaNell is survived by her daughter Karma Kay McCurdy, son David William McCurdy and grandson William Wayne Wilson McCurdy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Wilda Miska, and brothers Dempsey Quarles and Dennis Quarles.

The family will receive visitors at 9:30 a.m. at Slavik Funeral Home chapel on Saturday May 31, with a funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Edna cemetery.
