Fire near Cordele contained, no one injured

Around 11 a.m. a fire was reported just off of CR 530.
"Eldridge Chandler was out on his ATV cutting wood and the ATV caught on fire," EMS #3 Captain Nick Strauss said. "He was able to contain the fire and keep it in a small radius around him by stomping it out. When we arrived there wasn't much for us to put out."
The ATV, a four wheeler, was melted during the fire. There was no other damage and nobody was injured.
