UIL announces official realigned districts beginning the 2018 football season

As expected, Ganado did move up classifications to 3A-DII.  The Indians move into a district that includes Van Vleck, East Bernard and Tidehaven, three teams that advanced to the Regional round of the playoffs last year.

*New district team alignment with last seasons football record and what round of the playoffs they advanced to, if any.

District 14
Bloomington 0-9

East Bernard 10-2 Regionals
El Maton Tidehaven 11-1 Regionals

With Van Vleck dropping down a classification and Rice changing districts, Goliad and Luling will be added to make the district even tougher.

Last season Luling got knocked out in the Bi-District round by Hallettsville. The Brahmas were knocked out in the Area round by Goliad, who also knocked out Edna in the Regional Round. Goliad was then knocked out by Yoakum in the Quarterfinal round and Yoakum fell in the semi-finals.
