Stop by Tuna, Texas

The Ganado Townhall Players have a new home at the Rear Window Listening Room, and the cast and crew just finished their first weekend presentation of A Tuna Christmas, a slice of life play peeking into the lives of characters from Tuna, Texas the day before Christmas. The next chance to enjoy their rendition of Tuna will be Dec. 8-9, Saturday at 7:30pm and a Sunday matinee at 2:30pm.

Robin Donalson directed the play, a first for the stage manager. Ten actors stepped on stage, and in a move that caused the laughs to topple over one another, most of the actors played more than one character, sometimes three or four people. To see a person come out with different clothes than before, a wig and silly accessories makes the experience more fun because you’re trying to figure out who that person is playing next.
