Jury still deliberating

Closing arguments were given during the sentencing phase for Amber Sorensen today.
The jury went into deliberations a couple of minutes before 5 p.m.
Deliberations have now stopped for today and will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Yesterday Sorensen was convicted of Enhanced Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon Causing Serious Bodily Injury to a Family/Household member.
The jury can convict her for 5 to 99 years/life and, if they choose a fine up to $10,000 or if they can also choose to sentence her for probation up to 10 years with a fine also applicable if the jury chooses.
