Fire takes home south of Ganado

Five fire trucks, two pick-up trucks, one ambulance and two Sheriffs deputies responded to a structure fire south of Ganado last week. Agencies at the scene included ESD 3, ESD 1, Jackson County EMS, as well as Ganado, La Ward and Lolita VFDs. According to first  responders on the scene, the homeowners were in the process of remodeling and they did not have any homeowners’ insurance. Although an official investigation has not been completed, fire fighters suspect the fire began at the water heater.
