We had 155 cows and 25 bulls. The packer cows and bulls sold steady with last week’s figures.

The calf market continues to reach new limits each week. The new calf crop sold a little lower than the better conditioned calves The demand for cattle remains very strong.

Packer Bulls high yielding: 174-195; Lower yielding: 139-165; Canners and cutters, 155-180; poor and weak, 72-126. Palpated: 14, 2,050-3,050. Pairs, four, 2,600-3,700.

Steer and bull calves; 200-250 lbs, 534-560; 250299 lbs. 517-545; 300-350 lbs., 497-545; 350-400 lbs., 452-520; 400-450 lbs., 414-445; 450-500 lbs., 385-418; 500-550 lbs., 365-418; 550-600 lbs., 346-398; 600-700 lbs., 315-356; 700-800 lbs., 294-319.
