We had 162 cows and 18 bulls. The demand on packer cows and bulls were really high which made them $5 - $7 higher than last week. Top bulls weighed 1905 lbs. Selling at $2. The set of advertised cows were mostly open and brought $2,600 - $2,850 with the breeds bringing @2,950 - $3,050.

The calf market this week was strong with high demand consistent with previous weeks. Calf prices continue to set records each week.

Packer Bulls high yielding: 165-200; Lower yielding: 126-165; Canners and cutters, 150-165; poor and weak, 100-140. Palpated: 25, 2,000-3,050. Pairs, four, 2,600-2,800.

Steer and bull calves; 200-250 lbs, 499-535; 250299 lbs. 499-535; 300-350 lbs., 471-520; 350-400 lbs., 438-490; 400-450 lbs., 402-448; 450-500 lbs., 387-424; 500-550 lbs., 361-408; 550-600 lbs., 348-400; 600-700 lbs., 319-350; 700-800 lbs., 289-310.
