CUERO LIVESTOCK

Date: 5-16-25 Receipt 1,292

Packer cows and bulls were consistent with last week’s prices. We sold a few more pairs than usual, producing some healthy checks for our customers.

The cattle futures board dropped $6-$7 the last few days which caused some fluctuations. Lighter cattle took the biggest hit in both classes. However, the overall market was fairly steady with last week’s numbers. Even with the future’s board dropping this week, the market is still great.
