Jackson County Commissioners gave the go-ahead for architectural services to a pair of projects during Tuesday’s Commissioners Court meeting.
Commissioners approved a proposal for architecture services with Planning Place Consulting for work in the auditorium of the Jackson County Service Building and later approved a contract for architectural services with Burns Architecture, LLC, for a new animal shelter.
Commissioners have discussed needed renovations to the Service Building in prior meetings. Needs throughout the building will continue to be addressed, County Judge Jill Sklar said Friday.
