JCCCCA Lunch & Learn
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture hosted a successful Lunch & Learn event on Thursday. It focused on helping nonprofit organizations strengthen community connections and expand their impact.
The program, titled “Buiding Your Nonprofit Network,” welcomed local nonprofit leaders, business professionals, and community members for an afternoon of education, collaboration, and networking. A total of 16 attendees participated in the event.
Lunch for the event was generously sponsored by the Texas A&M University Victoria Nonprofit Center, with the presentation led by Brooke Garcia. Garcia shared valuable information on the importance of relationship-building, community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and strategies nonprofits can use to strengthen their presence and outreach efforts.
Attendees had the opportunity to connect with fellow organizations and community leaders while learning practical tools designed to help nonprofits grow and better serve the community. The event also encouraged collaboration among local organizations and highlighted the importance of community support in sustaining nonprofit efforts throughout Jackson County.
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture continues to provide educational opportunities for local businesses, organizations, and residents through its Lunch & Learn series and other community-focused programs. Chamber representatives expressed appreciation to all who attended and to the Texas A&M University Victoria Nonprofit Center for helping make the event a success.
