An evening with Texas A&M Victoria
On Monday, May 26, community leaders, business professionals, and supporters gathered at Chateau Du Sanctuaire for “An Evening with Texas A&M University–Victoria,” a special reception focused on networking, community engagement, and the future impact of higher education in Jackson County and surrounding communities.
The evening provided guests with an opportunity to connect with university representatives, local leaders, and fellow community members while learning more about the continued growth and vision of Texas A&M University– Victoria.
A highlight of the event was remarks delivered by Dr. Christian E. Hardigree, who shared the university’s commitment to student success, workforce development, and strengthening partnerships throughout the region. Dr. Hardigree spoke about the important role Texas A&M–Victoria plays in preparing future leaders while expanding educational opportunities that benefit both students and local industries.
The event was organized by McKenna Zacek Pustka, the Banking Center President for Prosperity Bank in Edna. Her leadership and coordination helped bring together community members, university leadership, and local professionals for an evening centered on collaboration and opportunity.
Guests heard about the university’s vision for continued growth and the positive impact higher education can have on Jackson County and beyond through innovation, collaboration, and community involvement.
