2A softball State Championship

Ganado Maidens (332-1) and Bosqueville Bulldogs (28-8-1) Runs for: Ganado 352, Bosqueville 332 Runs against: Ganado 46, Bosqueville 90 Bosqueville won a State championship in 2007 and has made it to State four times.

This is Ganado’s second trip to the State title game.

Bosqueville started the season 0-4, didn’t make it above .500 until their eleventh game of the season. Seven of those eight losses came against two TAPPS schools and five schools in a higher classification. Their only loss to a 2A team was in the Area playoff round to Riesel. Riesel, the team Ganado defeated in the State title game last year, fell in three games to Bosqueville. The Reisel loss is their only loss in the last 22 games.

Bosqueville has thrown 13 shutouts this year compared to Ganado’s 22.

The Bulldogs have scored more than 10 runs in 19 games this season, while Ganado has done it 18 times.

The Maidens are on a 19 game win streak.
