The defending State Champions Industrial Cobras Girls Powerlifting team sent eight lifters to the state meet and finished in second as a team. Miley Alaniz won State. Mackenzie Alaniz and Katie Kurtz finished second in their respective weight classes.
Maiden Abrielle Enriquez had the highest finish for Ganado in Sixth place.
Cowgirls Alina Gonzales and Mercedes Robinson had the high finish for Edna in 15th in their respective classes.
The Industrial Cobras boys powerlifting team finished in a tie for second place at the Regional meet with Cameron Medrano, Jayden Kemp, Morgan Mader, and Garrett Kolodziejczyk advancing to state. Kolodziejczyk had the highest finish for the Cobras in 7th place.
The Ganado Indians sent Noah Ybarra and Bryan Martinez to state. Ybarra finished third and broke the State squat record for his class. Martinez finished fourth.
Edna sent Octavian Lara to the State Unequipped meet.
