The Industrial Cobras capped an amazing run through district by taking down Hallettsville 6-1 and finishing undefeated. The Cobras have climbed to number two in 3A.
Industrial (19-2-1) will face Stockdale (14-11) in the Bi-District playoff round. The series will be played in Cuero on April 23, with game one beginning at 6 p.m. and game two to follow game one.
Kalyn Benavides continued her power surge, crushing a home run against Shiner to help the Maidens to a 6-2 win. The Maidens hold their number one spot as they prepare for the playoffs.
Ganado (25-2-1) will face Kenedy (18-11) in the Bi-District playoff round, Game 1 is Thursday, Apr. 23 at 6 p.m. in Kenedy. Games two, and three (if necessary) will be played Friday, April 24 at 6 p.m, in Ganado.
The Edna Cowgirls finished fifth and did not make the playoffs.
