The Industrial Cobras girls powerlifting team entered the State powerlifting meet as the defending state champs in
3A DII. Industrial sent eight to the state meet but finished in second place.
Individually Miley Alaniz won the State title in her weight class, defeating second place by an amazing 150 pounds.
Mackenzie Alaniz and Katie Kurtz finished second in their respective weight classes.
Abrielle Enriquez finished highest for Ganado with a six place finish.
Edna’s Alina Gonzales and Mercedes Robinson both finished 15th in their respective classes.
