Millie Diaz, News Reporter

Meet Reagan Skow, the newest Edna police officer, who was sworn in last week.

“I’m from Wharton County, where I’ve lived all my life. I started out in law enforcement at 19 years old where I worked for the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office as a correctional officer,” Skow said.

She said she’s always wanted a career in law enforcement since she was young. Skow graduated from the Wharton County Junior College Police Academy PA#119.

“A long term goal of mine is to become a Texas Game Warden. I’d also like to get into highway interdiction,” she commented.

Skow said getting to know the community and the people she will serve is very important to her.

“I look forward to serving the citizens of Edna,” she said.
