Jackson County District Court Docket Highlights February 12, 2026 Honorable Judge Stephen Williams Presiding
Fausto Rodas, Charged with Sexual Assault and Tampering with Physical Evidence, pleaded guilty to Tampering with Physical Evidence. He received five years probation, and seven days confinement in the Jackson County Jail. As part of a plea deal, the state abandoned count 1. Rodas waived his right to appeal, and should he not complete probation successfully, Rodas could be ordered to serve up to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Rodas waived his right to appeal.
Logan Allen O’Connor, charged in 2024 with Online Solicitation of a Minor, Attempted Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student, and Sexual Performance of a Child, pleaded guilty to Count 2, Attempted Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student. As part of a plea deal, the former Edna ISD teacher and coach received four years probation.
Should he not successfully complete his probation, he could be required to serve the maximum possible sentence, 10 years confinement in TDCJ.
O’Connor was required to permanently surrender his teaching license, and waived his right to appeal. He will not be allowed to seek early termination of his probation.
Kade Latrel Rodas, who pleaded guilty to Stalking in May of 2025, returned to court for a probation revocation hearing after being accused of violating the two-year protective order previously granted to the victim. He was sanctioned with 21 days in the Jackson County Jail for the probation violation, and pleaded guilty to Violation of a Protective Order, a Class A misdemeanor, for which he was sentenced to 90 days in the Jackson County Jail. The two-year protective order was extended to a lifetime protective order. He also waived his right to appeal.
Casie Ann Brandon, of Edna, pleaded guilty to Manufacturing/ Delivering a Controlled Substance, a second degree felony. She was sentenced to five years in TDCJ, and to pay restitution to the Texas Department of Public Safety. She waived her right to appeal. Brandon, who also goes by the name Casie Ann Black, was ordered to return on Feb 20 to begin her sentence. Andrew Longoria IV, charged with Attempt to commit Murder, had his case reset for a future date. Longoria is out on bond while he awaits trial. He was arrested in May after police say he texted threats to his ex wife.
Court documents say that at the time of his arrest, Longoria showed signs of intoxication and that police located handguns, AR-15 rifles, and an armor plated vest in his vehicle.
