Employment: Elementary administrator in Victoria,TX.

SEBSS- Social Emotional Behavior Support Specialist.

Clubs/organization, extra activities: In the past few years, I have voluntarily coached track & field, softball, kickball, and assisted with after school tutoring. My spouse and I actively participate in Walk Across Texas. I assisted with a school-wide spelling bee, leadership team and community involvement in school.

Previous experience: Juvenile case manager for Justice of the Peace Pct.1 in Montgomery, Texas. Thorough knowledge of court procedures, truancy, small claims, evictions, warrants, Class C minor misdemeanors and traffic citations. Collaborated with the district attorney, assistant district attorney, and law enforcement. Worked closely with the school district, including going into the school and speaking with atrisk students.

Reason seeking the position: I am running for Justice of the Peace because I believe deeply in serving my community as a servant leader. With fairness, common sense, and respect, I will always put my community first. Throughout my life, I have seen how important steady, principled leadership is at the local level, and I want to bring that same sense of responsibility and integrity to this role. While I strongly value tradition and personal accountability, I also recognize the need for thoughtful, innovative approaches that make our justice system more efficient and accessible for all community members. This position gives me the opportunity to give back, protect our community standards, and ensure decisions are made with care, dignity, and sound judgment— both for today and for the generations that follow.

Other pertinent information: After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I was contracted in Sasebo, Japan for the Navy PLATO Learning Center (Programmed Logic for Automatic Teaching Operations.) I was one of the first female pole vaulters in the United States. I competed in 1996 for Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) where I earned my All-American title for pole vaulting. I also threw javelin, placing 2nd in the nation, at.

AAU Nationals. I was offered a full track and field scholarship; however, I was injured my freshman year of college.

Edna is our forever home; Hailie graduated from Edna HS in 2025 and DayDay will graduate 2027. God, family, country and community.
