Previous experience: received basic Peace Officer license in 1993, intermediate License in 1998, advanced Peace Officer license in 2001, and Master Peace Officer License in 2006. Plus, over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and over 4,000 hours of professional training.
Extensive background includes experience in detention, courts, patrol license and weight enforcement, K9 operations, criminal interdiction, special operations, narcotics investigations, criminal investigation and leadership as Chief Deputy. Experience in managing large budgets, courtroom procedures and leadership.
Reason seeking the position: Growing up and living in Jackson County, I know the people well and believe in the family-oriented values that are exhibited today. I want to promote transparency, accountability, and accessibility for all residents. My broad experience gives me the insight needed to make that vision a reality.
