Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Sam Houston State University, Class of 2013 Employment: General Manager, Southern Field Maintenance, LLC, (heavy equipment dealership) Clubs/organizations: Jackson County Cattle Raisers Association member, South Texas Farm and Ranch Show committee member, Texas College Republicans (State level) past treasurer, SHSU College Republicans past president Previous experience: After college, in my early career, I worked in the oil and gas industry where hard work and long hours are a way of life.
Working from the bottom up, I quickly climbed the ladder which helped shape the management experience I lead with today. Fast forward to 2020, I started my role as General Manager of a heavy equipment dealership, I currently oversee all operations, budgets, and staff along with navigating ever-changing economic conditions and planning for future growth. Post COVID-19, I helped lead this business from falling on tough times into a growing, successful operation it is today. In addition, since 2015, my wife and I have operated a family cow/calf operation, giving me firsthand experience in agriculture, land stewardship, and the challenges facing local producers all skills I will bring to Commissioners Court.
Reason seeking the position: Jackson County is at a turning point, and the decisions we make today will shape its future. I am running to provide strong, forward-looking leadership that delivers results, transparency, and accountability. As a father of young children and a committed member of this community, I am focused on keeping Jackson County a place where families thrive, opportunities grow, and the next generation can succeed.
