Qualifying previous experience: I have many years’ experience as a civil legal assistant in law firms in Houston, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as well as assisting with Civil Legal matters in the Jackson County District Clerk’s Office. I have owned my own logistics business brokering contracts between liquid chemical companies and bulk tank carriers. I have also been the Administrator of the arm of a 501 C3 organization in Cuero, Texas that was based out of San Antonio, Texas. I have excellent skills building and leading teams, communicating with people, handling financial matters and I know the civil legal language.
Reasons seeking the position: I love meeting with and serving people. Jackson County has given me and my family so much that I feel it is time to give back.
