I understand this job from the ground up.
I first began working in the Precinct 4 Commissioner’s Office during the summers while I was still in high school 20 years ago.
That experience gave me an early, hands-on understanding of how county operations work especially when it comes to maintaining roads, managing equipment, and serving the people of our precinct.
I later worked for the Texas Department of Transportation, where I gained valuable experience at the state level with transportation infrastructure, road standards, and long-term maintenance planning.
That experience reinforced how important proper upkeep and smart planning are to protecting taxpayer dollars.
Today, I’ve returned home and currently work in the Precinct 4 Commissioner’s Office as an operator. Being back in this role has been eye-opening. When I left years ago, our county operations and road systems were in good shape. Coming back, I’ve seen where we have fallen behind in road conditions, accountability, and transparency; and that’s what ultimately motivated me to run.
Reason seeking the position: My wife and I are longtime Jackson County residents, and we’re raising our four children here. This isn’t about politics for me— it’s about responsibility.
I’m committed to running county government efficiently, maintaining our roads the right way, improving communication with the public, and ensuring transparency so taxpayers know how their money is being spent.
I’m running to serve this community with integrity, accountability, and common sense, because Jackson County residents deserve that.
Other pertinent information: I’m a longtime Jackson County resident, a husband and father of four, and someone who has spent years working directly in this county. My roots are grounded here. I’m not running to play politics I’m running to serve our community from my family to yours.
